Born in a family of goldsmith, he followed the tradition after completing his architectural studies, and went on to create exclusive pieces of jewellery for a selective clientele. The pure geometrical forms he based the design of his creation upon pleased, and success was prompt to knock on his door. From then on his creative playground had little boundaries; crystal, glass, ceramic, watches, perfumes and fashion. Packaging, interiors, sculpture, performing arts, litterature and photography. For this man of small stature life is grand, and creating a lifestyle he indulges in with greatness.
Dreamer ‘extraordinaire’ with an insatiable appetite for discovery and knowledge, his travels have taken him by and far.
When a strong desire to expand his horizon, by establishing residence abroad, caught him at the turn of the millenium, he set on a journey through sun filled landscape in search of a welcoming abode. With his wife Marie-Eve and their two sons, they journeyed amongst the lively and colourful land of Brazil, revealed in the authentic and profound atmosphere of Sri Lanka, bathed in the sweet nature of Thailand, though it is Bali, he chooses a few years ago to make home away from his opulent native France.
A passion for long lost cultures he always had. The magic of resurfacing is a thrill that never ceases to delight him, and it is with great excitement that he discovered a mostly abandoned hotel on the southern shores of the island, in the small village of Berawa in Canggu and set upon to reinstate a well deserved grandeur to its beautiful grounds.
Thus was Bolare reborn to a magnificent private home elegantly mixing his beloved simplistic and pure structural lines with the lushness and extravagance of the Indonesian culture and environment.
Far along within its accomplishment, yet a project constantly evolving, the new Morabito art villa is an ode to comfort, harmony and peace; an estate built upon the complimenting qualities of many combined origins to the most radiant effect.
